And more than anything you just want to feel like you're doing okay.
But mostly it feels like you’re failing.
You think you should be farther along.
You think it shouldn’t be so hard.
You think it should be easier to love people, that your kids shouldn’t struggle, that you should have it figured out by now.
You think you should be skinny and rich and disciplined and holy and fulfilled and happy.
But you’re not. And you think that you are the problem.
That if you could be better in some way (or in all the ways!) then your life would be better.
Worst of all, you think that your own disappointment is nothing compared to God’s. You’re sure that he must be utterly frustrated with the way you’ve spent your time on earth.
I want you to know something…
the problem isn’t you.
The problem isn’t even your life or the way you’ve lived your life.
The real problem is your brain.
Your brain’s opinion about you and your life and your capacity and your success and failures, is the only thing causing you pain and keeping you stuck.
And when you know the real problem, the solution is so simple.

I know what it's like...
When I turned forty years old, I was 40 pounds overweight, had over $40,000 in credit card debt, and felt like I was failing in every possible way. I was angry in my marriage, regretful about my mothering, disappointed in myself, and distanced from God. I felt miserable about who I was and where I was in my life, and I didn’t know how to change any of it.
But then I learned that everything in my life was being created by my thoughts.
From my money and my weight to my anger and my shame, all of it was a result of what I was thinking. The real problem wasn’t me—it was my brain. And learning this changed everything for me.
I changed my life and became certified as a life coach by The Life Coach School in 2019.
I specialize in causal coaching. Instead of focusing on the symptoms of the problem (your relationships, your weight, your money, your work), my coaching focuses on the true cause of the problem (your thoughts). This allows you to make permanent change in any area your life.
I have coached hundreds of clients for thousands of hours and have never found a problem that can’t be solved—because every problem is just a thought problem!
