You should know that feeling unworthy or inadequate is part of being human. It is the result of living in a human body that is powered a human brain, which is naturally programmed to notice what’s wrong with you.
Just like in a computer that runs on software, the brain's software, running all the time in the background of our lives, is that there’s definitely something wrong with us. This programming makes us question our overall worth.
So knowing this, how do we love ourselves?
You have to choose to. You have to give yourself permission to. In other words, we have to discipline our thoughts and decide purposefully how we want to think about ourselves. Here are some things to consider:
